In this direct hire role, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining robust cloud environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure system reliability at scale.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
- Containerization: Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers for microservices architecture.
- Automation: Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to streamline deployment processes.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage IAM roles, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system health, analyze metrics, and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Enhance and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Cloud Mastery: Deep expertise in AWS (or Azure) services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- IaC: Strong working knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
