Responsibilities
- Design & Deploy: Architect, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure.
- Automation: Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and deployment.
- Containerization: Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.
- Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Security: Enforce security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and software development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) into the development lifecycle.
- Cost Management: Optimize cloud spending and resource allocation to ensure cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure services (EC2, S3, Lambda, AKS).
- IaC Skills: Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Scripting: Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Containerization: Experience managing Docker and Kubernetes clusters.
- CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
