Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and IaC best practices
- Implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Optimize cloud costs through resource tagging, auto-scaling, and reserved instance strategies
- Design and maintain zero-trust security frameworks across multi-cloud environments
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud-native development patterns
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance observability with Prometheus/Grafana
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP certification (Solutions Architect or equivalent)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) and serverless architectures
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, VPNs, load balancers, DNS)
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (CIS, HIPAA, PCI-DSS compliance)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud spend and performance metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
