Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-modal autonomous system architectures for 2026 deployment scenarios
- Integrate AI/ML frameworks with sensor fusion technologies for real-time decision-making
- Develop safety-critical validation protocols for autonomous navigation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align autonomous solutions with regulatory frameworks
- Lead prototype development and testing of edge-case scenarios in simulated environments
- Document technical specifications and create implementation roadmaps for autonomous fleet deployment
- Research emerging technologies in quantum computing and neuromorphic engineering for system optimization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in autonomous systems or AI integration
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS/RCL frameworks
- Expertise in sensor fusion (LiDAR, radar, computer vision) and SLAM algorithms
- Strong understanding of ISO 26262 and ASIL functional safety standards
- Experience with cloud-native deployment and edge computing architectures
- Published research in autonomous systems or machine learning (highly desirable)
- Ability to obtain US government security clearance (required)
