Responsibilities
- Design and implement decentralized swarm algorithms that enable autonomous coordination and self-organization in dynamic environments.
- Oversee the integration of predictive maintenance systems into swarm fleets to minimize downtime and optimize lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to refine sensor fusion capabilities for high-precision navigation in complex urban settings.
- Lead the training and fine-tuning of reinforcement learning models to handle edge-case scenarios and unforeseen obstacles.
- Mentor a team of talented robotics engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct rigorous simulation testing in Unity and Gazebo environments before deploying code to physical hardware.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field with a focus on AI.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotics software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Deep proficiency in Python and C++, including experience with modern C++ standards.
- Extensive experience with Robot Operating System (ROS 2) and middleware architectures.
- Strong background in Machine Learning, specifically Reinforcement Learning and Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL).
- Demonstrated track record of deploying systems in real-world, safety-critical environments.
