As a key member of our Future Cities Lab, you'll leverage predictive analytics, generative AI, and IoT integration to transform urban landscapes. You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, climate scientists, and behavioral economists to develop autonomous infrastructure frameworks that enhance livability while reducing environmental impact.
Responsibilities
- Design AI-powered urban systems for smart transportation, energy grids, and waste management using predictive modeling
- Develop generative algorithms to optimize city layouts for population density, green spaces, and resource allocation
- Create digital twins of 2026 urban environments using real-time sensor data and machine learning
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams implementing AI-driven climate resilience solutions
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous municipal systems
- Present futuristic urban concepts to municipal governments and Fortune 500 partners
- Research and integrate quantum computing applications for urban optimization
Qualifications
- Masters/PhD in Urban Planning, Computational Design, or related field with 5+ years AI implementation experience
- Expertise in generative AI (GANs, diffusion models) and predictive analytics frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti) or advanced simulation tools
- Portfolio demonstrating AI-powered urban transformation projects
- Certification in sustainable infrastructure design (LEED AP, WELL AP)
- Experience with IoT ecosystems and real-time data integration
- Published research on AI ethics or future cities in peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and urban modeling software (CityEngine, UrbanSim)
