Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-optimized neural network architectures
- Develop novel algorithms for quantum machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional research projects with physics and materials science teams
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum-AI convergence
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Identify and mitigate quantum decoherence challenges in ML models
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in top-tier AI/quantum journals (NeurIPS, Nature Physics)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction protocols
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into working prototypes
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware constraints and optimization techniques
