Responsibilities
- Design and execute AI innovation roadmap targeting 2026 market disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing generative AI and machine learning solutions
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips) into product pipelines
- Secure $2M+ in annual innovation grants and partnerships with top-tier research institutions
- Mentor 10+ engineers and data scientists through our AI Excellence Academy
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to the Board of Directors and industry consortiums
- Drive patent development for at least 3 breakthrough AI methodologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/AI or equivalent with 8+ years in AI leadership
- Proven track record of shipping production AI systems with measurable business impact
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and ethical AI frameworks
- Published research in NeurIPS/ICML with 50+ citations
- Experience securing DoE/DARPA grants or equivalent commercial funding
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing applications and neuromorphic hardware
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
