Responsibilities
- Develop Ethical Frameworks: Create and enforce comprehensive AI ethics guidelines and policies to mitigate bias and ensure fairness in our models.
- Compliance Strategy: Navigate the evolving landscape of global AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and ensure Nexus Horizon Corp remains compliant.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical and ethical concepts for diverse audiences, including executives, developers, and regulators.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct rigorous risk assessments on new AI deployments to identify potential societal impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering and data science teams to integrate ethical considerations into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Philosophy, Computer Science, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, data governance, or a related compliance role within the tech industry.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and current AI technologies.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop long-term strategies that balance innovation with risk management.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
