Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce a comprehensive AI ethics framework and compliance strategy aligned with 2026 regulatory trends.
- Conduct rigorous audits of machine learning models to identify and mitigate algorithmic bias and data privacy risks.
- Collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical requirements.
- Monitor global legislative changes (GDPR, EU AI Act, CCPA) and update internal policies accordingly.
- Lead internal training sessions and workshops to foster a culture of ethical responsibility and awareness.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the ethical performance of our AI systems.
- Communicate complex ethical risks and mitigation strategies to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in AI ethics, data governance, compliance, or a related legal/tech field.
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and data privacy laws.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to scrutinize code and data pipelines for bias.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical nuances to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment within a tech-forward company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
