As part of our Ethics & Governance Lab, you'll collaborate with quantum computing specialists, neuro-engineers, and policy architects to create the next generation of AI governance protocols. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical risk assessment frameworks for next-gen AI systems
- Design bias mitigation protocols for neural networks processing human data
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits of autonomous systems before deployment
- Establish real-time monitoring systems for emergent AI behaviors
- Create educational programs for engineers on responsible AI development
- Advise C-suite on ethical implications of AI strategy decisions
- Publish peer-reviewed research on AI ethics in partnership with Stanford
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with AI ethics focus
- 5+ years experience developing AI governance frameworks in regulated industries
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics journals (e.g., Nature Machine Intelligence)
- Experience with quantum ethics and post-humanist philosophy
- Certification in AI Risk Management from IEEE or equivalent
