Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for practical industry use
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-coherent systems
- Drive patent development and publish breakthrough research
- Mentor quantum engineering teams and establish best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Proven track record of translating theory to commercial systems
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
