Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technology trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying disruptive opportunities across AI, quantum, and biotech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Design and implement innovation governance frameworks for ethical tech adoption
- Present future-state scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor internal talent in strategic foresight and emerging technologies
- Manage innovation portfolio with P&L responsibility for proof-of-concept initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching products/services with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Strategy (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (e.g., Harvard Business Review)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M annually
- Strong network with CTOs and innovation heads across major tech hubs
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management
