You'll partner with C-suite executives to develop future-proof strategies, drive R&D initiatives, and position Nexus Horizons as the industry's thought leader in next-generation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping 2026 technological and market landscapes
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps for emerging sectors (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders and industry thought leaders
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academic and industrial partners
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 technology and business trends
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating emerging technologies into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology strategy
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
