As a key member of our Future Intelligence division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to develop actionable frameworks for exponential change. Your insights will directly influence product development, market entry strategies, and organizational evolution in sectors ranging from AI ethics to space commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal shifts to forecast industry trajectories post-2025
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients navigating 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-proof organizational structures
- Author forward-looking white papers and trend reports published in leading journals
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with innovation hubs, academic institutions, and government initiatives
- Quantify risk/opportunity matrices for exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodology and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or thought leadership
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong network within futurist communities (Association of Professional Futurists membership preferred)
- Ability to translate complex future concepts into executable business strategies
