What You Will Do:
As a Weekend Software Engineer, you will act as the guardian of our platform during off-peak hours, ensuring seamless operations and rapid incident response.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and debug complex software applications using modern languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Maintain and optimize existing codebases to improve performance, scalability, and security.
- Deploy code releases and manage configuration changes during the weekend maintenance window.
- Investigate and resolve technical incidents or bugs reported by the support team.
- Collaborate with the Product team to define technical requirements and architectural decisions.
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning sessions via async communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with database management systems (SQL/NoSQL) and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
