Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices and cloud-native applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust API architectures and integrations
- Optimize system performance and scalability through continuous testing and monitoring
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during weekend rotations
- Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning for weekend deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with modern frameworks
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of shipping production code using Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across time zones
- Experience with weekend or shift-based development environments preferred
