Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
- Lead API development and optimization for high-throughput payment systems
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Conduct rigorous testing and performance tuning of production systems
- Drive architectural decisions for scalability and security compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with payment processing or fintech systems preferred
- Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and caching strategies
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
