Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and microservices
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of shipping production systems
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
