Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions for climate, AI, and biotechnology domains
- Develop predictive models for market disruption scenarios using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data narratives
- Establish an internal 'Future Council' to embed foresight thinking across organizational functions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into tangible product roadmaps
- Author quarterly trend briefings that inform strategic investment decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Technology Management (PhD preferred)
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend extrapolation, and disruption analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation track record
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures methodologies (e.g., from AC/FS)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
