Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and infrastructure automation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching strategies
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with ability to work in distributed teams
