Responsibilities
- Design, code, and deploy high-performance software solutions during scheduled weekend maintenance windows.
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot critical production issues.
- Optimize database queries and backend architecture to handle peak loads efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Product team to implement sprint features during the weekend shift.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure adherence to security and coding standards.
- Manage and update CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Document technical architecture and provide support to on-call support staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development using modern languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Demonstrated experience working with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a distributed team.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays.
