Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor weekend maintenance windows to ensure system stability and 99.99% uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve critical production issues that arise during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team to prioritize bug fixes and feature deployments.
- Document technical changes and create runbooks for future reference.
- Conduct performance tuning and security audits on the weekend infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response procedures.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and system maintenance.
- Proven ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, Go, or C#.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
