Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications during weekend maintenance windows.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% system availability and uptime.
- Collaborate with the DevOps and QA teams to implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to enterprise standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers on the team.
- Optimize database queries and application performance to enhance user experience.
- Monitor system logs and alerts to proactively identify potential security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C# with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
- Deep experience with SQL and relational database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).
- Mandatory Requirement: Must be available to work a Weekend Shift (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to relay technical status updates to the wider team.
