Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Optimization: Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates on production servers to ensure 99.99% uptime during peak weekend hours.
- Deployment Execution: Execute CI/CD pipelines and deploy software releases to staging and production environments with zero downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by internal stakeholders or external clients.
- Code Quality Assurance: Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, security, and architectural integrity.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and incident reports to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one major language (Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Schedule: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday on a rotating schedule (e.g., 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
