Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for our core platforms.
- Execute high-velocity deployments and database migrations during the weekend maintenance window.
- Debug complex production issues and troubleshoot system anomalies with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the core team remotely on Monday through Thursday to align on sprint goals and code reviews.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with at least 1 year in a technical support or maintenance role.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Python, or Java.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and communicate effectively via Slack and Jira.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
