Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, code, and test high-quality software solutions specifically tailored for weekend support and maintenance tasks.
- System Optimization: Proactively monitor application performance and optimize backend systems to handle peak loads efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex software issues with minimal supervision to ensure zero downtime.
- Collaboration: Partner with the QA and Product teams to triage and prioritize critical tickets for the upcoming business week.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, API references, and code comments to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Security Compliance: Implement security best practices and conduct code reviews to protect sensitive data during off-hours operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience in a full-time capacity.
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript).
- Architecture: Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Databases: Experience working with relational (SQL) and/or non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
