Responsibilities
- Develop & Deploy: Design, code, and maintain high-quality software applications focused on stability and scalability.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine updates, patch management, and database maintenance during weekend windows to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor system alerts and resolve critical technical issues efficiently to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Code Optimization: Review and refactor legacy code to improve performance and security standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the QA and DevOps teams to validate weekend releases and prepare deployment plans.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation and runbooks to reflect recent code changes and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience (Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go is required).
- Environment: Strong experience working in Linux environments and using command-line tools.
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document technical processes clearly.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
