Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor critical weekend deployments for our SaaS platform with zero downtime.
- Perform proactive maintenance and security patches on our production servers.
- Investigate and resolve escalated technical issues reported by the support team during off-hours.
- Collaborate with the core engineering team to optimize database performance and backend APIs.
- Conduct automated testing and regression testing to ensure code quality standards are met.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports for weekend operations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically in high-availability environments.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Django).
- Strong experience with SQL and database optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
