Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions and APIs for our weekend maintenance cycles.
- Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed during peak performance windows.
- Debug and resolve complex production issues that arise during the weekend shift.
- Collaborate with the QA team to test and deploy software updates efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and ensure 99.9% uptime during critical maintenance windows.
- Document technical changes and update runbooks for weekend operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Strong understanding of database management (SQL) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
