Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for weekend deployment cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers during weekend rotations
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Document technical specifications and contribute to engineering wikis
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in software development with Python/Java/JavaScript
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex problems autonomously
- Excellent communication skills for remote team collaboration
- Portfolio demonstrating full-stack development projects
