Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS DevOps tools
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on agile methodologies
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring solutions
- Collaborate with UX teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in Java/Spring development
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3) and Docker
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud deployment strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a weekend-shift environment
