Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture for cloud-native applications
- Write clean, efficient code with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (weekend-focused)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (SQL)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools
