Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, code, test, and debug high-quality software solutions for our enterprise platforms.
- System Optimization: Monitor system performance and optimize database queries to ensure maximum efficiency during off-peak hours.
- Critical Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance, patch management, and critical infrastructure updates without supervision.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and bugs with minimal oversight.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Day Shift team during overlapping hours to define requirements and ensure seamless handovers.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and code comments to ensure knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience in a high-volume environment.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go. Experience with AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Database Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database optimization.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM) to support global operations.
