Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Support: Monitor application performance and infrastructure health during night hours to ensure zero downtime and optimal user experience.
- Code Implementation: Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software features that align with business requirements and technical standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks quickly and efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for code, APIs, and operational procedures to facilitate team collaboration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product team and QA engineers to review code and improve system architecture.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend or full-stack engineering.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript (React/Vue), Node.js, or Python. Experience with SQL databases is required.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM EST).
- Tools: Strong understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and reporting.
