Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java, Python, or C#.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues that occur during off-peak hours to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to ensure seamless code integration and deployment.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural improvements and system optimization.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and release processes.
- Monitor system performance and security during the night shift to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, or C++).
- Experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills to relay technical status to the wider team.
