Responsibilities
- Development & Engineering: Design, code, test, and debug complex software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- System Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement patches during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Database Management: Optimize database queries and structure data models to support high-volume data processing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and day-shift teams to define requirements and deliver features on schedule.
- Security Implementation: Identify vulnerabilities and apply security patches to protect sensitive data during maintenance windows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Java, C#, or Python; experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
