Responsibilities
- Development & Deployment: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions and APIs for our core platforms.
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance, logs, and metrics to ensure 99.9% uptime during night operations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and bugs that arise during off-hours, ensuring rapid recovery.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, including conducting thorough code reviews and unit testing.
- Database Management: Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity across our distributed systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day-shift team and support staff to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Database: Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with cloud services (AWS or Azure).
- Work Schedule: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
