Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services via AWS Lambda and Docker
- Optimize application performance using profiling tools and database indexing strategies
- Write clean, testable code following CI/CD best practices and DevOps principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java/Node.js
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Portfolio demonstrating full-stack projects with deployed applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
