Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Python
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS with Docker/Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB clusters
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Conduct thorough testing with Jest and Cypress frameworks
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python ecosystems
- Strong AWS certification (AWS Certified Developer preferred)
- Proven experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
