Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices for payment processing APIs
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct security audits and implement PCI-DSS compliance
- Collaborate with product teams on feature roadmaps
- Document architecture decisions and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development
- Expertise in Go/Java and distributed systems
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect preferred)
- Kubernetes and Docker orchestration experience
- Strong understanding of payment protocols (ACH, SWIFT)
- Proven ability to scale systems to 10M+ transactions/day
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
