Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, Redis) for weekend traffic surges
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Implement security best practices and conduct weekend vulnerability scans
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in agile ceremonies during weekend sprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and REST APIs
- Experience with GitOps and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architecture projects
- Experience with performance tuning under high-concurrency scenarios
