Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software code using modern programming languages (Java, Python, or C#).
- Perform system maintenance, bug fixes, and troubleshooting during off-peak hours to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA team to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code reliability and security standards are met.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural planning sessions to maintain code quality and best practices.
- Monitor system health and respond to critical alerts during the weekend shift.
- Document technical processes and create technical manuals for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C++).
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work a consistent weekend shift (e.g., Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday).
