Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services and APIs.
- Perform rigorous code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Ensure high system availability and reliability during weekend maintenance windows.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident response.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (Java, Python, or Go preferred).
- Strong proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching technologies.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
