Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications for our core platform.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues during peak weekend traffic to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with the product team to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python or Java.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers on the team.
- Ensure system security, performance optimization, and data integrity.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a shift-based environment.
