Responsibilities
- Critical Infrastructure Support: Manage and execute complex software deployments, patches, and updates during the weekend window to ensure zero downtime.
- Incident Response: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of critical system outages and bugs, minimizing impact on business operations.
- Code Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous code reviews and implement best practices to ensure code security, scalability, and performance.
- System Optimization: Analyze system metrics and logs to identify performance bottlenecks and implement long-term architectural improvements.
- Collaborative Engineering: Partner with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and document system architecture.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a rotating schedule.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Java, Python, or C# with experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- DevOps: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
