Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Lead security and compliance initiatives for distributed systems
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expertise in at least one modern language (Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, or similar)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
