Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs and microservices using Python and Go.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, design) to define technical requirements and implement features.
- Optimize database performance and ensure the reliability and security of our cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and caching solutions (Redis).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
