Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve critical software defects and system anomalies occurring during the night shift.
- Execute code deployments, database migrations, and infrastructure updates to ensure zero downtime.
- Collaborate with US-based product teams to prioritize bug fixes and feature implementations.
- Conduct code reviews and perform unit testing to maintain high code quality standards.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in our internal knowledge base.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency system outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development (Java, Python, Go, or C# preferred).
- Proven track record of working successfully in a night shift or non-traditional schedule.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
