Your Mission
As a Night Shift Software Engineer, you will be the guardian of our digital infrastructure. You will take ownership of code deployments, performance tuning, and incident response when the rest of the world sleeps.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable software code for our core platforms.
- Debug complex issues in legacy systems and optimize database performance during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure adherence to security protocols and coding standards.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot incidents proactively during the night shift.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Must be available and willing to work night shifts (e.g., 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
